Who Said Failure Is a Bad Thing ?

“Failure is not an option”. I’ve heard this phrase way too many times. I’ve heard it repeated by my parents, grandparents and teachers. But what is failure? According to Merriam Webster, failure is lack of success, failure to perform a duty or expected action, a state of inability etc. Now with that knowledge we can conclude that failure equals bad right? WRONG!  Even if it means failing more times than we can count on our fingers and toes, success always comes before failure. In my lifetime, I have never heard a success story that began with success. A lot of success stories are founded and based on failures. These stories either start off on how they failed and found some light in their failure or tried until they succeeded. Now don’t get me wrong there is a point where there is no more room for failure. Failing with no eventual success is not acceptable. Once you fail, another strategy or course of action should be taken in order to ensure that failure doesn’t reoccur. It’s inevitable that we will fail at some point in our life if not on a daily basis, like I do. But my goal in life is to reduce my number of failures and increase my numbers of success. If more people lived their lives anticipating failures and using them as stepping stones to success, then failure wouldn’t be known as such a bad thing. Too many people are afraid of failure and tip toe around to make sure they will never fail. If your goal is to never fail, you’ve done just that. 

My First Blog

Soo I still can't beleive that I'm actually in college. It feels like I shouldnt even be here. Right now I'm sitting in English 1101 and I really hope I get an A out of this class. Ms. Aiken (my english teacher) suggested that we make a blog to contibute to our grade. At first I was sceptical because I'm not too good at writing but pratice makes perfect !

Vandolizing at Macon State ?!

So my roomates car has been vandolized for the 2nd time today along with a girl who lives across the hall from us ! Not only that, theres been people purposely making noise upstairs just because we told them to be respectful and quiet down! We also think that they are the ones resposible for the gum and syrup left on her car. So tonight, my roomate decided to give them a peice of her mind and they responded by running off laughing. I think its funny how I'm IN COLLEGE and still feel like I'm still IN HIGH SCHOOL ! All the foolishness and petty pranks needs to stop! Cause while their thinking everything is all fun and games, they can be arrested or charged for obsruction of someone elses property. OH ALMOST FORGOT ! This other girls air was let out of her tires ! If all this stuff hadnt been happening, I wouldve thought that it was just coincidence. But nevertheless something seriously needs to be done before it gets out of hand.
